is a restorative movement practice based on the five stages of movement development: Embryonic, Creeping, Crawling, Standing and Walking. Practiced with awareness, the Nia 5 Stages supports optimal alignment, ease and balance in the body, and is a powerful tool for self-healing.

Beginning with gentle movement on the floor and progressing through each stage toward walking,  participants develop “Sensory IQ” through attention to the sensations of flexibility, stability, strength, mobility and agility.

Each class focuses on a different aspect of  anatomy and functional movement, providing awareness of  The Body’s Way, while emphasizing ease and comfort in your natural time, moving mindfully in Your Body’s Way.

This foundation in the Nia 5 Stages is ideal for those new to Nia, or as a complement to your existing movement practice.

Space is limited!  Register here to reserve your place.
